Flat color commission work for ~ArsonisticIntentions :iconarsonisticintentions:

i had fun with her hair in this one.
I have trouble drawing blind characters cause eyes say a lot about a character, and without them it's hard to really draw them in an expressive way. does that make any sense?

I dunno.

Anyway, school fall semester starts for me in 10 days. that's pretty exciting. :D

I have a blind character too! I know exactly what you mean. I solved the problem by giving his overall face a more exaggerated feel plus he's an older man so it gives me a lot of things to work with. You probably have to really work with their body language which tells you even more than the face.

I love how blind people rarely focus their eyes and body on what they are perceiving. You can have so much fun with this! Like how this girl is probably focused towards the viewer yet her head isn't facing us yet you have her shoulders, feet and hands telling us where she's "looking."

yea especially in comic/anime/manga drawing stuff, the eyes are emphasized and express a lot more of the character's personality. When you don't look at the eyes, then it's all about body language :0
